Trail has released a digital platform for sharing and utilising equipment across organisations. Trail Sharing platform allows customers to create hubs of trusted partners who are allowed to book equipment from one another. This way for example all theatres in one geographical area are not forced to purchase all equipment for themselves. The platform provides efficiency to lending assets as well as the history of all equipment loans.
When sharing equipment, the customer is always in charge of what equipment to share and with whom. Booking equipment from another organisation requires also the approval of the owning organisation.
